How To Go To Nuvali thru commuting (update as of Nov. 13 2017)

Nuvali was one of the nicest places in the South Metro. It is located somewhere in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. As I used to drop by at their Facebook page, a lot of people are asking on how to be there or sometimes complaining of less bus schedules direct to the said place. Here is the guide for you dear commuter.

If you are from On/Before Cubao:

1. Look for JAC Liner bus in Cubao with Balibago signboard. It will brought you to Balibago terminal. Fare costs P70
2. When you're already in Balibago Terminal, look for Balibago-Tagaytay jeep (Just search "balibago tagaytay terminal" in maps.google.com.ph to see the actual place - it is near a market and Super 8 Market when you see in actual) with Tagaytay signboard. Ask the driver to drop you at Nuvali. Fare costs P17

If you're in other parts of Metro Manila:

3. Ride a bus to Alabang (it's your choice if you're riding an aircon or ordinary bus). Trip to Alabang depends on your starting point. I advise you to choose with South Station in the signboard.
4. If you are already in South Station, go straight to the path of La Verde or Padis Point and turn left. As you already outside, facing you is a line-up of jeeps. Just cross the street and approach the line
5. Look for the jeep with "Balibago" signboard. Fare costs P34.
6. When you are already in the Sta. Rosa Toll exit, you have a choice on either to get out there and look for a tricycle near the Coke plant (costs P40 per person but you have to wait to fill in the trike if you're in a hurry - just request to the trike driver to drop by to Nuvali) or for a cheaper alternative - let the jeep go to Balibago terminal and follow the instruction on  step 2

The New Way to Balibago-Tagaytay Jeepney terminal thru Balibago Public Market

As we visited the Republic Wake Park for a gig, we had a question mark in our mind as a part of the land is currently in construction. Here's how to go to the said terminal thru the said public market (just look at the picture map as your guide)

1.If you're already in Balibago Complex, you have two options: Go to the street between the Sta. Rosa Transport Terminal and Grand Square Stadium (also currently in renovation), turn left and go to the other side of Zircon Rd. til you reach the Balibago Market. (near Angel's Burger booth). The 2nd option is to go through the Super 8 store and go to the back section and you'll also see Zircon Rd.

2. When you're at the said public market, just go in and reach even the back. Surpass that portion with a karinderia and billiards until you reach the jeepney terminal (which is also jeeps to Nuvali via Tagaytay are there)

From Nuvali on your way home: (from morning til 9pm)

1. The only way to get out from Nuvali to your home is through the Balibago terminal. There's a line of tricycles near the area (near Sta. Elena and a guardhouse) to fill in. P20 is the fare per person to the said terminal
2. When you're already at the said terminal, you can choose your ride by van or by bus (as you'll see the signboards). Fare will depend on where you live. If you're going home to Las Pinas, Paranaque, Taguig or Muntinlupa area, I suggest you to go to these steps; Ride a jeep on the National Highway to Pacita Complex (costs P17) . If you're going to Alabang or Las Pinas, ride a jeep with Alabang Susana Heights signboard (fare cost P15). If you're from Paranaque, you have 2 choices - either look for a bus that has Sucat/Bicutan signboard or follow the direction on Alabang and Las Pinas. When you're already at Alabang, it's easy for you to get a ride to Paranaque.

From Nuvali on your way home: (from past 9pm til the morning)

1. The only way to get out from your home is through the Balibago terminal. There's a line of tricycles near the area (near Sta. Elena and a guardhouse) to fill in. P20 is the fare per person to the said terminal.
2. During these times 90% of the time, the trike will stop at the nearest 7-11 near both in the National Highway which also near the Balibago Complex.  If you're going home to Las Pinas, Paranaque, Taguig or Muntinlupa area, I suggest you to go to these steps; Ride a jeep on the National Highway to Pacita Complex (costs P17) . If you're going to Alabang or Las Pinas, ride a Alabang Palengke jeep. If you're from Paranaque, you have 2 choices - either look for a bus that has Sucat/Bicutan signboard or follow the direction on Alabang and Las Pinas. When you're already at Alabang, it's easy for you to get a ride to Paranaque.
3. If you're going to other parts of Metro Manila that are not mentioned, there are buses and vans at the Balibago Complex terminal 24/7. Van and bus fares will depend on your destination.

I hope it helps a lot of people who are really itching to go this serene and beautiful place like Nuvali

Update as of April 15, 2014: A few days ago at EDSA, I saw a Phil. Tourister bus with Balibago, Sta. Rosa signboard which is also an option but it is a slim chance for you to see that rare bus plus if the bus or those MMDA personnel around the said major highway will allow you to go in. I have no idea on the bus fare. Once you are already at the Balibago complex, kindly follow the instructions on how to go to Nuvali from Balibago Market as starting point

Update as of Feb. 6, 2014: You can also take a Balibago Complex jeep at Starmall Alabang. If you are facing at the front of the mall, go to the right side and you'll see a signboard there. We are not sure on the jeepney fare if it is the same as the Balibago jeep at South Station at P34 and the operating hours. At night, you can still rely on the jeeps at South Station. The part of Nuvali that surrounds the man-made lake made it official that there's a curfew starting at 7pm everyday plus other rules for those who wanna set up a picnic or gathering there. Details soon on my blog.

Update as of Nov. 13, 2017: For those who are coming from Makati, Pasay or Manila, there is also a bus at BBL Bus Terminal (just near the LRT Gil Puyat and Gil Puyat Avenue) with Balibago signboard which will bring you straight to their terminal near Balibago Complex. Once you are already there, it is only near to the jeepney terminal to Nuvali. For even more convenience, there is now a P2P bus from Circuit Makati or Glorietta straight to Nuvali thru our previous blog post here

Thanks for the info.
Please improve your grammar though. It's "painful" to read through all the confused verb tenses.
