Since March, Cherry Mobile Omega HD was one of the anticipated Android phones in the local mobile market. For it's price of P7,999, you'll already get a 5-inch HD IPS display smartphone with Android 4.1.1 Jellybean inside plus BSI enabled dual cam. To see the initial specs, you can go to this link

We tested the quality of 12 MP rear cam on low light with flash and these are the results:
For my Antutu result: here it is:
We also tested Temple Run 2 in minimum and medium settings and it runs well. Good news for those who loves to listen to the radio, it has a FM recording function (the file will save as a .3gpp file) . We also tried the call functionality and it's crystal clear for both us and the receiver of the call. One downside of this uni is the provided earphones as it was not that loud for both FM radio and stock music player (but thru the music player's equalizer, you can do a little tweak for you to make it louder). For those who like to take pics, there's a dedicated camera button on the left portion if you're looking at the said phone
As for roamers and those who use 3g connection for internet, another good news. This unit is quad band GSM and dual band 3g capable phone (thanks to this episode of my fellow bloggers at the Big Time Show as someone asked Mr. Marco Solomon - head trainer of Cherry Mobile - check this link and skip to 34:02) As for WiFi, it is quite impressive as I tried it in a place in Makati with 18 mb DL and 15 mb UL speeds.
The verdict, for its specs and other features and intangibles - Cherry Mobile Omega HD is really value for money for it's price. Like the Cherry Mobile FB fanpage at www.facebook.com/cherrymobile
