Good thing that I had a second chance to be in one of new and interesting stores inside SM BF Paranaque and it is something cool.
For the 2nd part of our Secrets of the South tour, we traveled from Festival Mall to check out Coolato Artisan Gelato.
Actually, it is easy to remember the prices. The basic flavors are at Php 120 while the premium and new flavors goes at Php 150 plus Php 20 for each topping that you want to add.
What is cool for an artisan ice cream like in Coolato is you can see how your ice cream was made and it was quite fast and an enjoyment at the same time. It is like some of the restaurants which you can really see their kitchen.
Kathy gave us an info that their small cup (which looks like the small cup from Selecta Gold series) is really fully packed so you will really getting value out of your money (as in walang hangin). Their first treat was the Caramel Machiatto and it was really very good that it can be my perfect subsitute for that variant that you can get in a coffee shop
Then all of the elements of Black Forest in this cup, it was also a perfect treat for us plus the right kick plus some additional wafer sticks as a treat.
Then Kathy gave us a chance to choose our flavors to try and it happened that we are also sharing the same cup. Blogger Irish Lopena had the Almond Joy which is a chocolate based ice cream but with lots of almonds. It will be a hit for those who love that nut.
Blogger and rocker mom Cindy Dominguez chose this Fresh Strawberry variant. As the name and this picture said, you can really have a berry delicious treat with a number of strawberries chopped in half. Natural and creamy are in balance in this cup.
And my choice which is the Banoffee Pie as I was kinda disappointed by this recent release from a popular ice cream brand. I made no mistake in my choice as the balance that I did not found in that ice cream was present by this version from Coolato. The ice cream base, bananas and coffee were just on the right amount and it was also creamy.
My personal picks for me will be the Fresh Strawberry and Caramel Machiatto. Coolato Artisan Gelato is easy to locate near the cinema area. You can check their Facebook page thru this link
