After my first meet-up and visit at BS Mobile office, I got a treat as I had a chance to review their other product (aside from their phones) which served some memory when I saw them way back in 2012.
That's their powerbanks and for this post, I got a chance to check the BS Mobile X3 Powerbank. These are the front and back views of the product which doesn't look cheap at all. The product has 5200 mAh capacity and also comes with a micro USB to USB cable
The front view has the BS Mobile logo and a black line which contains the powerbank capacity meter (that's 4 bars so by 25% each). Powerbank info at the back. The top has micro USB with 1 ampere input, LED flashlight and USB with 1 ampere output.
For this test, I had my 3 devices which are Lenovo Vine Shot, Asus Zenfone 2 Laser and MyPhone Storm TV. For the Storm TV (which has normal 1 ampere requirement to charge), it charged on time compared to a typical charging via the outlet. I charged the 2 other mentioned phones and expected that it will charge slower but still gets the job done. (ZF 2 Laser has 1.35 A output while the LVS has 1.5 A with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2.0 support). On charging via a 1 ampere charger, it can be fully charged for 5 1/2 hours which is normal based on my tests. The LED torch is bright and I love the form factor and easy to grip. On actual capacity, I checked that it has around 65% or 3,380 mAh. For that, not that good not that bad for it's price.
BS Mobile X3 powerbank is good enough for those who have a smartphone with required 1 ampere output or less plus the LED torch is a bonus. This powerbank might be not for you if you have a phone or tablet that has higher charging requirement(as we already saw a number of powerbanks that has 2 ampere output - a must have for other smartphones and tablets). The price is also right at Php 349 which is a better choice over this particular shop that sells cheap but lesser quality powerbanks.
BS Mobile X3 Powerbank is still available in BS Mobile kiosks and stores.
