Cherry Mobile, MyPhone, Starmobile, THL and Zopo already gave their prices for their currently available and upcoming octa-core Androids in the country but how about SKK Mobile?

SKK Mobile unleashed their first octa-core powered phone Kraken weeks before the Holy Week but most of the people who saw that Facebook page post scratched their heads on the price as it was not indicated.

So I had to ask the mod behind the SKK Mobile FB page last Monday and here’s their answer to me based on this screenshot

Based on the specs that SKK Mobile Kraken that was already posted, I guess that it will not exceed at P12,000. I hope that the people from SKK Mobile will release this device soon as the clash of the octa-cores already beginning to a tough battle here in the country

Move Apollo: The 1st smartphone in the Philippines with digital TV, specs, price

Remember the 1st tablets in the country with digital TV from a local mobile phone brand? I wonder and dream that when we will gonna see a smartphone with a digital TV function. In the past, we saw those Android phones with analog TV from another local mobile phone brand.

Until I saw this first at a branch of a mobile phone store and through the website of MyView, the Move Apollo. It is the 1st and currently the only smartphone in the country with digital TV. Here are the specs.

Currently, channels 2 and 4 (for Mega Manila) have the digital TV capability so if you’re a fan either of two channels and you want a TV on the go, this is for you. In Digital TV, expect that either of the 2 channels should be crystal clear even if you’re inside a building (as I saw a demo of a tablet in digital while watching in a closed room as I saw it in a local video podcast). Good to know that it is a 5-incher plus an a-ok battery for a dual core phone at 2000 maH

Yesterday, Cherry Mobile posted a teaser pic with the Cherry Mobile Festival 2014 that made me wonder.

With that tagline “Maghanda na para sa 40% eXciting ‘to”  , this is something to look for this annual happening from the local mobile brand.

With that letter X as the emphasis, I wonder if  it hits some discounts to some Cherry Mobile smartphones with an X in their names like the Cosmos X, Cosmos X2, Flare 2X or maybe on Omega XL?
