RNTD At Selecta Super Thick Ice Cream booth at SM Southmall

Before I got the news that Selecta Ice Cream will showcase their new Super Thick series in some malls, I already had a taste of it via those 5 peso samples at a supermarket

That weekend of May 21-22 at SM Southmall, I wanna have more so I went to the Selecta Super Thick Ice Cream booth. Many kids were amazed with that wacky demo that one of the service crews did just like the one from the TV commercial

I also asked some tidbit questions to their in-charge personnel and I also said that I'll cover this on my blog and all of them were happy on what I did. Here are the pics:

At Nuffnang Philippines' 1st Nuffamily Day

June 4, 2011 the date that I had a chance to be in Tagaytay after 14 years thru Nuffamily Day happened at Crosswinds Resort Suites in Tagaytay

Unlikely to its theme (which you may allow to bring in your family members to this event), I decided to be in "solo flight" mode to attend to this event coz each of my family members had something to do

We had a smooth travel round trip thanks to Jac Liner

We arrived at the venue at past 4pm as we got a chance to see the Christmas store and the long line of pine trees. It brought me some ideas that this can be a great place to spend Christmas and this will be my great alternative to Baguio City.

Honestly, this is one of the blogging events that really made my stomach in full mode thanks to the event's generous events. The Nuffnang people also had some games til past 7pm

The highlight of this event was when all of us 50 bloggers (with their own family members) and Nuffnang people lifted up some paper lanterns. It was great coz it was my first time to do this :)

Before we go to Manila, the people of Crosswinds had a "pahabol" as they presented their Christmas Village and Santa's house which really made me feel that it's Christmas in June

RNTD at Manila Beer Rock On Manila event at Festival Supermall

Last May 14, I got excited to that great band line-up at my 3rd attendance of Manila Beer Rock On Manila event happened at Festival Supermall, Muntinlupa City

The band line-up (in order of apperance) composed of Imago, Top Junk, Franco and Parokya ni Edgar

As expected, the moshpit had build-up during the set of Franco and PNE. 

RNTD at Metro Comic Con 2011

I attended the first day of the recent Metro Comic Con 2011 last May 7. It was my first time to be there at the said event. I'm not disappointed at my first try to be in this big event. 

As expected, lots of cosplayers were there to join in the fun. The event were hosted by DJ Vince of Mellow 94.7, Hannah Villasis of Flaircandy blog and Best Men host RJ Ledesma

My eyes were filled to these beautiful sightings from old school comics to the new ones. Even the toys, some free testing of some laptops and that giant Transformer made from a car brand

Over a week ago in my road tripping, I had a stopover to Chowking Puregold San Pedro Laguna branch to check out their unique fun size Halo-Halo for only 29 pesos

For me, it's quite rare coz in most Chowking stores that I saw were only selling the product at it's lowest price of 60+ pesos

Ron Not The DJ at Big Bob's Burger

Closing minutes to 2pm of May 7 at Mercato Centrale when we arrived at the booth of Big Bob's burger

We became curious to this unique burger shop coz they featured twice at The Brewrats Show on Dig Radio plus  the temptation of that 1/3 pound burger

Just like the RATs, we also tried out the Big Bob's burger (which is also composed of veggies and 2 cheeses: American and Mozarella) and also their blueberry cheesecake with that Mercato Centrale seal of approval. That means, it was a top seller at the fair

HTC Desire S Launch at Icon, Hotel Intercontinental

Last April 28, I had a chance to be at the launch of HTC Desire S happened at Icon inside Hotel Intercontinental in Makati City

The show already started at around 7pm. Mark Sergio, country manager of HTC Philippines did the introduction for the product. Also, they raffled off a brand new unit of the said product and a media person from Net 25 just won the unit. 

Ron Not The DJ At Red Horse Beer and Rakista.com Rakrakan Series 14

April 16 was a very hectic day for me. After the Bloggers Fest, I arrived at past 10pm to witness the Red Horse Beer and Rakista.com Rakrakan Series 14 happened at Blue Wave Macapagal, Pasay City

Great thing that I had a backstage pass so I had a lot of possibilities like to drink Red Horse beer for free, to see the live video streaming provided by Rakista.com (and also thanks coz they allowed me to sit on their bench and drink a glass of water)  and to see some of the bands in closer view

The first band that I saw at that time was Giniling Festival singing some of the songs from their Makamundo album (which you can download the songs for free) and it followed by Saydie, Join The Club, Pentavia, April Morning Skies, Karl Roy, Greyhoundz (with the most number of songs performed) and the much-awaited Wilabaliw. The show already ended at the following day April 17 at past 2am

Thanks For The Prize, Eveready

Last month, I finally had the time to claim my prize courtesy of Eveready.

I joined the Eveready blog contest last December 2010 as they celebrated their 110th year

My prize composed of a big Eveready flashlight with 2 size D batteries inside an Eveready paper bag. This is a big help in the house coz this is really good when a typhoon strikes in especially when it's brownout at night.

Story taken from 9:00am to past 10:00pm:

Lucky that I was able to catch the first ever bus shuttle in corner of H.V. Delas Costa and Leviste Sts., to be in my first big blogging event this year: Bloggers Fest 2011 happened in Thunderbirsd Resorts in Binangonan Rizal. 

Me and the rest of first batch of bloggers arrived at the area at around 11:00am. We had a warm welcome with the people at the reception area. We got some freebies like the Thunderbird Resorts Rizal tote bag complete with some print ads and a 100php voucher which I can use for their casino (which I chose to be one of my souvenirs). I also had a free picture courtesy of Baicapture. There were also free flowing of coffee and water just outside of the newly-opened Event Center
