It's been a while since my last exclusive interview with MPL PH's gold standard Kelra from the team's thanksgiving party
A few days ago from their quick 2-0 series win over AP Bren, I finally unloaded some of the topics that I saw from the recent Holy Week based on his socials.
First was the change of his by-then fragrance business D&Y Fragrance to S&D Scent last January which sometimes him and Coach Ynot promoted it during MPL and media's post match interviews. He said "...kasi wala talagang reason bakit sya nabago. Parang trip lang. Trip lang naming baguhin from S&D Scent kasi yun yung name ng baby namin - si Slake tapos yung D, ako (Duane)." When I asked if there's a new scent collection coming, he added "Wala pa pero sa clothing ko, meron" which it gave a segue to my next question.
Another one spotted in his socials was his newest clothing business venture Standard Wear (as you may already have a clue on it's name based on his famous MLBB monicker) which I inquired on the story behind on his new project " Sa akin kasi, matagal na akong nagpaplano ng clothing (business) e pero ayoko ko ng clothing na pangalan ko kasi ang daming nagsasuggest na Kelra ang pangalan pero ang sabi ko kasi, parang ML comm (community) lang yung may alam. Ayun lang ang bibili. Gusto ko sa t-shirt ko, di na alam na ako ang may-air nun tapos bibili sila dahil maganda ang design... gusto ko talagang magtayo ng clothing. Yun kasi yung pangarap kong business."
As we know it that Onic PH's prized gold laner loves the music of Flow G, we asked him too on Ex Battallion's new music which dropped 7 tracks in their Youtube last April 11. He responded with "Ay, hindi pa pero kasi si G Wolf (the other name known to the said rap artist) lang talaga yung sinusundan ko. Hindi kasi ako masyadong nagpapatugtog ngayon e."
And then we had a little convo about it that he did not know on the surprise 7-track drop (as I planned to ask what his favorite on those 7 tracks) of the said rap group but he promised to give it a time to listen to it.
