While MPL PH is on break during the Holy Week and looked at his socials, an untouched topic popped out of my mind as it was also related by Kelra from his viral pic last Decemeber with that gift from known local rap artist Flow G
Set last April 26, even though his team Twisted Minds won against AP Bren, Coach Bon's face looks like in a tension that I let one of my MPL media colleagues to do first his own exclusiveWhen it was my turn and I gave him a preview that I am asking questions to him about two wheels, he already got it.
My first question When I asked him on why he picked Kawasaki Ninja as his ride (the one that I saw from this April 7 2025 post), he can't help to hide that big smile and answered "Unang una, yung looks kasi everytime na tumitingin ako ng big bike ang una kong tinitignan yung looks. Pangalawa, yung sound, kung paano yung sound nya. Yung mga inline 4 so yun yung dalawa at syempre yung pangatlo, yung cost. Kung affordable ba o hindi. E yung napili ko, siya yung pinakapogi na may pinakamagandang tunog na affordable so kaya napili ko yung Kawasaki Ninja."
When I checked on various reputable PH moto-related websites, the price of 2025 Kawasaki Ninja Ebony/Lime Green ranges from Php 331,000 (KRT) to Php 340,900 (ABS)
I knew that I got his happy mood activated so I rolled out on if I gonna see his phone on Facebook and Youtube based on his algorithm, who are his fave motovloggers to watch. He said likes to watch those who travel in beautiful places like Aports (he explained actually that it reversed to Tropa, he described it as a low key YT motovlogger). He doesn't like to watch racing-related moto content because he already has 2 kids added "..Ayokong matsambahan.." but he also said that he cannot endure to also watch racing-related moto videos as he was amazed on itand mentioned one of known in the said genre, MotoDeck who has current 1.24 M YT subs as of writing.
On if he already visited a moto-related event if not this year or in a few years back, he said that it was in World Trade Center when he was still coaching Blacklist International coz of one of their sponsors that time Petron that why's he's there although he already can't tell on the exact name of the event. It was a number of big bikes and new motorcycle releases.
As one of the most talked about moto related events of 2024, I asked him if he's aware of the Boss Ironman Motorcycle Challenge and if he was either got an interest or an invite, he quickly responded with shared his own opinion about it. "Ayoko. Kahit siguro (ma)invite, ayoko dahil unang-una siguro sa mga nakikita konng nangyayari everytime na may ganong event may mga namamatay. May mga napapahamak and para sa akin siguro okay lang naman na ipagpatuloy nila basta tanggalin nila yung mga dapat. May a yung mga first placer, second placer. It's either finisher or non finisher lang dapat para di naguunahan yung mga tao. Siguro, isa pa sa maganda siguro nila para siguradong hindi mag-unahan di ba usally pag Iron Man, kukuha ng time stamp sa mga check point. Ang gawin nila, siguradong hindi mag-uunahan para makakuha ka ng time stamp punta sila dun sa mga lugar na masasarap kainan. Dapat kumain muna sila bago magkaroon ng ano ng stamp, di ba? Mga ganung way para maging enjoyable yung Iron Man."
As of March 6, 2024, there is a House Resolutiion HR 1612 filed and referred to the House Committee on Rules on the investigation of the last 2024 challenge due to the rise of life threatening incidents. As of writing as I checked it's social. In a news article in June 2024, several lawmakers urge organizers to stop the said event.
