Another triple header happened earlier in Week 5 Day 2 of MPL Philippines S15 with different twists and turns.
We go first with the star match-up as round 2 between Onic Philippines and Aurora. The Sonics got their payback against the current no. 1 in standings as they brought in their first defeat in the series. RORA got Game 1 but Onic put a reverse sweep including a quick W in Game 2
Kirk got his first S15 MVP honors in Game 3 with 6/0/3 using Hilda
Second match was the S15 debut of Koyl and 3martzy in TNC versus AP Bren. The Phoenix Army finally got the chance to snap their 4-match losing skid to improve their 4-5 record. Koyl got the Game 2 MVP with 10/2/3 KDA using Joy in their 2-0 series win
In the post match media interviews, APBR's Coach Jeff and JamesPangks still gave high percentages that their team can still get a playoffs seat with their current 1-7 slate. On TNC, most of the time got the spotlight to 3mar who really expressed his hunger to finally able to play in local shores after playing MLBB as an import for a number of seasons.
To cap it off in the first match, Team Liquid PH did not let Team Falcons made a clapback with their 2-1 series win. Owgwen got the chance to use Kalea for the first time in Game 2 but it was not that much of a factor. Oheb got the Game 3 MVP badge with 6/0/3 using Granger. With another win in their match tomorrow, they will be the second team to have a playoffs seat after Aurora
