MOBA game Honor of Kings got a successful run of their recent tournament named as Honor of Kings Invitational Season 3 recently with a new champion Nova Esports
The Malaysian based squad had to win 2 last games to stretch the series in Game 7 and clinched the title in their open-to-all tournament happened from Feb. 21 to March 1 in SM North EDSA The Block
The Finals MVP of the tournamen went to Xuan
For the three PH representatives, Blacklist International got the 3rd-4th place finish after that painful reverse sweep on BO7 semis clash versus Nongshim
The squad will go home to Malaysia with USD 100,000 prize money while Nongshim will have USD 50,000 in their pockets
On the said same day, the MOBA game also announced a PH-based pro league which named as Philippines Kings League or PKL
There are five invited teams including Blacklisgt International, Boom Esports, Flash PH, Eureka and TNT Tropang Alab. 16 teams will be fighting out for 3 more slots in the qualifiers to complete the 8 teams in the said league. That includes 2 special slots for Elevate and Rough World Era, the other 2 PH teams who joined in the said invitational along with BLCK
