Another Saturday triple header happened earlier in MPL Philippines S15 Week 4.
To start it off, the battle of the unbeaten between Team Liquid PH and Aurora. It was a close 2-1 series win for the northern lights as the cavalry absorbed their first defeat in the season
Game 1 was a statement for TLPH while RORA managed in the late game to snatch Game 2 win. Game 3 was a pivotal point for Coach MTB's squad as in time 365 days ago that Estes appeared in MPL PH since BLCK's game. Renejay got that Ohmyv433nus feels in handling it with a Baxia jungle by Demonkite. The healman got the Game 3 MVP with 0/1/5
When I asked about it in the post match media interview about the said trivia posted during the broadcast, MTB said that it was not on his notes at all but amazed on what he saw on the stream. On TLPH's side, Coach Arsy was still happy after the match as it was ok to lose right there than in the playoffs.
Second match, Onic Philippines posted their 2nd back-to-back wins in the tournament versus the still struggling Smart Omega at 2-0. Super Frince got the Game 2 MVP badge with 2/1/11 KDA via Selena.
In the post match media interviews, Coach Sn4p pointed out the mic on their 2nd straight match as he thinks that the team needs more bonding to finally rack some wins. Yours truly saw their data analyst Coach Wolf in the holding room which became one of the topics. Coach Ynot expressed that he's happy in terms of their current working relationship and being there to be able to walk. Hours before the match, we saw an IG story from Wolf with a picture of a cane with a caption "Hello, my friend".
The third match featured the old APBR squad but now in Team Falcons and the new boys of AP Bren. A surprise win for the retooled team in Game 1 with 10-3 but Games 2 to 3, the Green Falcons flexed their muscles like a world champion including a savage in Game 3 via Joy of Kyletzy.
In the post match media interview, I noticed that APBR did not let FLCN use Badang which I asked to Coach P4kbet and he pointed that either FLCN chose not to pick it or not letting them use it not for Flaptzy but for Owgwen.
Two more matches scheduled starting at 5 pm to close out the Season 15 Week 4 of the said pro MLBB league.
