Their latest smash and drop resistant phone, we're privileged that HONOR Philippines gave us an opportunity to check out the HONOR X6b more than a week before it became available commercially

On the UI, nothing much to tell as as it is the same Magic OS 8.0 based on Android 14 that we encountered on some of their devices. As a budget phone with Helio G85 processor, you are only limited to some light multitasking and games.
Connectivity is quite ok for calls, texts, LTE mobile data, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS
Wirh it's 5,200 mAh battery, we were able to survive this phone for around 2 days with some light gaming, online media consumption and social media. Charging it from zero to 100% with it's 35 watt charger was at over 90 minutes.
Sounds are also more than average on the 3.5 mm audio jack but only good enough thru i's speaker
On camera, surprisingly that X6b can properly take those night shots either on normal or HDR mode just to have that steady hands as much as possible. Front cam is a-ok for socials as well for it's video shooting capabilities that can go up to FHD 30 fps

The official regular price of Honor X6b in the Philippines is Php 6999 which is I hope they will stick to the Php 5699 (as of 4 pm Sept. 13 2024 when we checked it on Shopee) as it will be more expensive than the 4/128 GB variant of also recently announced Samsung Galaxy A06 at Php 6799 (even that X6b has 2 GB more RAM and have that smash and drop resistance). The pros were definitely the camera quality for its asking price, battery, UI and connection. The cons that we can see are the speaker quality and their choice for only hybrid dual sim solution.
