In anticipated rematch between Fnatic Onic and Team Liquid PH, there was one change but we got the same result
The Sonics still got the win over the Cavalry in MPL Philippines S14 Week 5 Day 1 in a shorter 2-0 series win compared to their first match that went down to Game 3 plus the almost 2 hours of delay due to technical difficulties.
Like what happened in their previous game. TLPH chose Zaida once again to be their jungler over Karltzy. For some reason (or part of FNOP's gameplan) that they were able to use Zaida's Ling and Sanji's Zhask twice in the series and even concentrated on hero bans on Kelra on Game 1 but it did not stop for the Sonics both their 8 straight wins and as the first MPL PH S14 team to get a playoff seat. FNOP also surpassed their 7-game winning streak that they achieved in Season 13
In the post match media interview, Kelra, K1ngkong and Coach Ynot were as one as honestly money as the one that making them not to be complacent with theiir current winning streak
In the opening game, Blacklist International tripped once again with a 0-2 loss over Smart Omega. It was the first game of the barangay since they already put Ribo out and Ch4knu's brother Burnok in the roster but not fielded in the line-up. Coach Lembot expressed in the post match media interview earlier that there's a high chance that they will activate their newest ka-barangay but no words yet on the timeline.
