As Mr. Richard Yu of Huawei made an announcement that the Huawei P20 and P20 are now available, so as Huawei Mobile Philippines had a treat to us and select local tech media to have a first dibs of one of the P20 duo

The top has noise cancelling mic and IR blaster while the right hand side has the power/unlock button and volume rocker.
The left portion has hybrid dual SIM tray (SIM 2 can be used as micro SD slot) and the hint from their newest pair of earphones, the 3.5 mm. audio jack is gone as you can check the speaker, mic and USB Type C
As I held the Midnight Blue Huawei P20 Pro, we were in a stop-and-wipe mode as the back was very prone in fingerprint smudges. Even with a FHD+ display, the smaller notch is quite noticeable. There's not that much changes in the EMUI 8.1 compared to EMUI 8.0 in terms of app icons and pulldown menu. Sadly, the 4G icon is still not present
Not sure if this will be the official contents of the box as there's no presence of a protective case. The usual essentials were there with the addition of USB Type C to 3.5 mm. audio jack adaptor. As the P20 Pro comes only in one variant which is 6 GB RAM/128 GB ROM, it left with 115 GB of remaining storage space.
We all knew that it has the same SoC as to the Mate 10 so no questions for now in terms of processing prowess. A reason for us to jump in and dig some from their first with triple dual camera system. Few additions are the Master AI and the 40 MP and 10 MP selections in the rear mode. That mode by the way has only that "Huawei P20 Pro" watermark. We tested a bit of the 3d lighting mode with stage light, solft light and no light which reminds me a bit of that feature from iPhone X. The stage light might not be suitable for all face sizes as to our sample right here. Image processing speed is indeed fast. We cannot judge yet on it's color accuracy as we were in mixed ighting conditions at the venue

International pricing of Huawei P20 Pro is at 899 Euros. As Huawei Mobile Philippines just presented it to us, a sign that it will be available in the Philippines soon
