Aside from the P20 Pro, Huawei Mobile Philippines also gave us a chance to check out the standard verrsion of Huawei's newest flagship for 2018
Same color that we got (so do not be fooled), it's the Huawei P20. You can check it's specs sheet thru our previous blog post here

The rest of the physical and the inputs are the same as what we seen earlier on the P20 Pro but in a small., 5.8 inch display factor. In terms of protection, the standard P20 only has IP53 compared to IP67 ceritification of the bigger P20 Pro
There were some confusion on the storage options. There is a reason on why this P20 has 4 GB RAM/128 GB ROM as there is no micro SD slot in here but the said storage is already enough for sure for those who are both heavy on media files and apps
The camera set-up is almost the same as to the P20 Pro except on the pro mode which it can support up to ISO 3200 and up to 30 secs. in shutter speed. Good to know that P20 can shoot FHD+ videos in 18:9. If you more into photos, just too fast on the image processing speed and the colors were very good. A high expectation indeed as they were proud that this handset scored 102 in DXOMark, 3 points more versus the Galaxy S9+

The international price of Huawei P20 is at 649 euros or around Php 42,155 if converted locally. I wonder if Huawei Mobile Philippines can bring this one down to at least Php 39,990. We have to face the truth that compared to Huawei P10, that is a huge price spike but you have to consider that huge storage that they threw in and a better processor. As the availability of it in Paris started on it's launc date and the speed that Huawei Mobile PH provided us and the rest of local tech media, there is no question if they will gonna have a Philippine launch of Huawei P20 this April
