Lenovo K8 Note Unboxing, First Look

A couple since they had a formal launch, Lenovo Mobile Philippines finally gave us a signal to check out their latest 8-core phone which it had a global launch before in India

Here is the Lenovo K8 Note. While we are still waiting for other brands in their moves, Lenovo K8 Note was still in our radar as they recently introduced the Venom Black color variant in the local market.

Here is the box by the way with it's striking neon main background color. You can check the official specs in this blog post.

Unfortunately, we got the fine gold color which is not our first request but still thanks to them. We been thru a number of 18:9 display phones so with this 16:9 display phone, we still had a lil adjustment for our first few minutes of navigation. Goood addition that there's a front flash and the capacitive Android controls

Major part of the back was made of metal but the top and bottom parts were obviously made from plastic (I am gonna forgive them mainly for it's below 10K SRP). The looks of the dual rear cam and fingerprint sensor were a-ok with the Lenovo logo. Good thing that there's almost no camera bump in here. The noise cancelling mic is also there. The back cover is non-removable with it's 4,000 mAh battery inside

The left part has two trays, one for dual nano sim and one separate for the micro SD slot and the additional music button for those who lovetheir tunes. The right part has volume rocker and power/unlock button

The top has 3.5 mm audio jack while at the bottom, there's the real speaker, mic that is also looks like a speaker and OTG-capable micro USB port

I mentioned on that almost no-camera bump as the package does not have a protective case inside as well as a pair of earphones. There is a warranty card, user manual, sim ejector tool and 12V 1.5A ampere travel charger

As of this time, Lenovo K8 Note has a December 2017 security patch update which as of now, no official words yet if there's a possibility for Android Oreo. Just like in our reviews, expect new things that you may not see anywhere else which might lead if the Lenovo K8 Note is worth your Php 9,299 (which is Php 8,999 before at it's local launch date)
