In less than a year, Gamecon Philippines went back just last weekend to showcase more on gaming plus more
Set in Megatrade Hall 2 of SM Megamall, the place was smaller this time yet it was fully packed and more varietty this time. Led by their main sponsors Logitech G which they presented their G413 mechaning gaming keyboard as well as their own gaming mouse products while for battle at League of Legends. There were also some pretty good gaming computers from Omen by HP.
The indie game developers were also there with some creations by College of St. Benidle. With the help of PhilRobotics, the roborumble contest was a lot bigger and meaner as a group of students with their 300k destructor robot gained the top place of the competition
Mobile gaming was also there with some Arena of Valor. Free arcade gaming was also possible from Quantum Amusement. There were also a number of card gaming which Magic The Gathering was one of the blockbuster hubs there. I also saw the Huawei booth which they showcased the mobile gaming prowess from Huawei Nova 2i
I was able to attend the second day of the event which it was the chance for me to see the finalists of their cosplay competition which they had a lot better number of contestants. Two of the top spots claimed by War Machine and Bumblebee (of Transformers) cosplayers
