Down with the Q. Now, it was the time to meet the standard Asus Zenfone 5 (2018)
That slim bezel!

Back: 12 MP main cam with Sony IMX 363 sensor at 1.4 micropixel size and 1/2.55 inch sensor plus with another 120 degree wide angle camera and flash, fingerprint sensor, Asus branding, non-removable back covered on glass
Internals: Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor, ZenUI 5.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo, 4 GB RAM/64 GB ROM or 6 GB RAM/64 GB ROM options, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, NFC, Face Unlock feature, 3,300 mAh battery
Unlike on Zenfone 5Q, the Zenfone 5 has hybrid dual SIM tray (either 2 nano SIMs or 1 nano SIM, 1 micro SD) on the left portion has while at the right has the same set-up with power/unlock button and volume rocker. Both sides have curved portions, too. Like they mentioned, it has a smaller notch versus iPhone X which helps more your viewing experience especially for some media consumption and games. More on display, more fun!
The top part has only the noise cancelling mic. The bottom was quite jampacked with 3.5 mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, pin hole mic and speaker. The USB OTG function is yet to be verified
The claim to fame of the new Asus Zenfone 5 is their own Ai photography with AI scene detection in 16 types, AI photo learning, AI portrait mode and AI beautification.
Asus Zenfone 5 was in that pristine, classy look that I saw in the demo area on it's Midnight Black variant. So far, the lock screen was only our hint on what the ZenUI 5.0 can bring on the time
