The wait is over, ZenFans as Asus finally made it's awaited formal announcement of the all-new Asus Zenfone 5 Series in Barcelona, Spain in Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018.
First is Asus Zenfone 5Z with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 with Adreno 630 GPU plus Snapdragon X20 Gigabit LTE modem, 6.2 inch display in 19:9 display aspect ratio, 6 GB RAM, 64 GB ROM, Bluetooth 5, 2x2 802.11 ac WiFi.
Another is the Asus Zenfone 5 with it's exquisitely crafted design, amazing dual camera system, Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC plus their very own Asus AI Boost which helps in performance for demanding tasks and mobile gaming
Both the Asus Zenfone 5Z and Zenfone 5 have the Sony IMX 363 sensor, large 1.4 micropixels size, f/1.8 aperture, 120 degree wide-angle camera plus 16 different scenes and objects can be detectedm thanks to AI Scene Detection plus AI Photo Learning.
In a statement from Asus CEO Jerry Shen "We embarked on the ZenFone project four years ago with the ideaa to create empowering luxury for everyone to enjoy. Today, the Zenfone 5 series is the most intelligent Zenfone series ever, utilizing advanced AI algorithms and big-data analytics to provide users with a uniqye slate of intelligent camera, communication and convenience features."
To beef up the Zenfone 5 global launch, they invited known global rock band OK Go which later will have a collaboration soon for marketing the Zenfone 5
For it's global pricing, ASUS Zenfone 5Z will start at 479 euros (which is 4 GB RAM/64 GB ROM version)
The said smartphones will be available within 2Q 2018 in the Philippines. Asus Philippines also had a treat that they brought in Barcelona in Manila by their livestream set for select local tech media with Juanito's Bistro as the official venue partner
