We did this once for the past few years and this 2017, the numbers went bigger for our viewership and we already collected the top 10 stories of 2017 here on the site based on the total number of views this 2017.

It was months before the re-launch of Sun with it's LTE service and this one started it all in terms of unlimited calls to landline which is more affordable per month with Sun TU200 which explained already for 200 pesos and it definitely took attention of the huge prepaid segment in the country

9. Huawei GR5 2017 Review

This is first of the two slots that this known midrange phablet from Huawei claimed from this countdown which really had it's craze since January 2017 as it was also known in CES 2017 as Honor 6X and no wonder that yours truly made a choice to be it's main driver for the most of 2017. I even even anticipated it's Android Nougat update which even made my experience better

8. Vivo V5s PH Launch Date

It was another big year for Vivo Philippines as Vivo V5s was one of their known handsets on that year with their clearer selfie battlecry. Coincidentally, the fight for the upper midrange Android phone went wild this 2017 and this phablet was one of the most anticipated.

7. Beep Card x Wonder Woman

Beep card was slowly become a norm for the commuting public mainly for train and now P2P bus usage plus the more expanded options to reload. They had a good timing with this special edition Wonder Woman beep card as they released it a month before it hit the cinemas. They hit the jackpot as the said superhero movie had raves in the box office worldwide

6. P2P Bus from Makati to Nuvali

Our viral commuting guide to Nuvali that I published last 2013 for sure it had a relation with this as well as to number 7 as those who reside or work from/to Makati can now have a stop to Nuvali easier and it was a sigh of relief for those who love this shopping/recreation park developed by Ayala in Laguna. I tried it once from Glorietta to Nuvali to do some photoshoots in one of my recent phone reviews and it was a comfortable and fast ride indeed

5. EGG Network - E-Sports Now on Free Digital TV

As one of the few tech bloggers so far who is in focus on the rise of Digital TV in the Philippines and at the same time, the e-sports scene, having EGG Network in our TV sets for free on digital TV was a welcome addition. At least, no more internet needed for us to check out the latest and live tourneys of LOL, Dota 2, CS GO and even MOBA games like Vainglory and Mobile Legends. I just hope that they will also be available in DTH services like SkyDirect and Cignal too

4. Huawei GR5 2017 First Impressions

While most of you are waiting for it's review, the first impressions of Huawei GR5 2017 was also on the top 10 list as I was fortunate to be one of the chosen few local tech media to check it alongside with the launch of Huawei Mate 9 happened in Aracama in BGC. Like what I said in the number 8 slot, at first I really loved this phablet in the first few days.

3. FPJ's Ang Probinsyano Mobile App

Thanks to one of our friends who is working at this, this blog was one of the first tech blogs to pick up this story as the top rating teleserye FPJ's Ang Probinsyano is now on your smartphone. No wonder that it became a hit after they released a book

At first, I was a bit shy to be in the table together with MyPhone President and CEO David S Lim with one of their events for their another tech brand Brown and Proud but I did not know at first that there's a reason - as we got the first dibs of MyPhone Digital TV Dongle which your OTG-ready Android phone can now access Digital TV. It also had a wow factor for the pricing at Php 499 versus the others at 3 times the price

1. OPPO F3, F3 Plus Leak - A Worldwide Hit!

This blog is posting a lot of tech-related leaks for years mostly for brands that are available locally and all of them are by accident and this one is an addition but I never expected that it go beyond globally with most India-based tech sites and one of our fave global tech sites - GSMArena. Our find on the upcoming OPPO F3 and OPPO F3 Plus which first seen in a local dealer via an ad as well as a mall in Gaisano. It also made waves and one of the reasons was their about-to-be multi-territory endorser. Weeks after, the Philippine launch was one of the most anticipated too with their dual selfie camera as it's main headliner. No wonder that it also made on the top 9 of most searched smartphones in the Philippines this 2017 by global search engine giant Google
