Just in between the HTC launch, the tech world just looked once again in India for the launch of Xiaomi's new Redmi smartphone series
These are the new Redmi Y Series which includes Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite both with dual nano SIM + micro SD in one tray, MIUI 9 based on Android Nougat and has 5.5 inch HD display
Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, LTE, weighs in 150 grams, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, comes in either dark gray and gold and has IR blaster plus 3,080 mAh battery. Redmi Y1 Lite price is at 6,999 rupees
The better one, Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core SoC, 13 MP PDAF main cam with flash and f/2.2 aperture, 16 MP sefie camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture, made from an aluminum body and also has 3,080 mAh battery.
Price of Xiaomi Redmi Y1 is at 8999 rupees (3 GB RAM + 32 GB ROM) and 10,999 rupees (4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM). It will be available soon on Amazon India at their local time 12 noon on November 8
