Before I had this article, it took us some time before we shed in some light regarding the arrivial of Nokia in the Philippines officially last June via HMD Global
Yes, this blog post almost took us 5 months to be answered mainly to some unforeseen circumstances (but not on the HMD Global side but on the one that representing them before). There were some new personnels just came in since the Philippine launch of Nokia 8 and finally, our queries came in a must-be, fast-paced mode which me and some of the readers are asking.
Finally, it's here with big thanks to Shannon Mead, HMD Global Philippines Country Manager as he ended our waiting time:
1. Which company does HMD Global tap here in PH for aftersales support?
HMD Global highly prioritizes its customers by providing them with the support and assistance they need. We have a nationwide coverage of collection points through the network of MemoXpress shops. We also have Care Centers managed by MemoXpress and Primasiana. Consumers can visit our support website at https://www.nokia.com/en_ph/phones/support/care-center-locator to find the nearest Nokia mobile care center.
2. Complete list of official resellers or physical and online stores where people can buy Nokia phones.
We encourage our customers to visit https://www.nokia.com/en_ph/phones/store-locator for a list of the top stores near them.
3. How long is the warranty for all Android-powered Nokia smartphones?
All Nokia-branded phones manufactured by HMD Global Oy come with the Manufacturers Limited Warranty of 12 months for the product, 12 months for the non-user changeable battery and 6 months for user-changeable battery, charger and headset. To learn more, please visit our support page at http://www.nokia.com/mobile-support
4. Is there a possibility for at least one of the Android-powered smartphones to be available for postpaid plans by a specific telco?
We are exploring all opportunities to reach our customers. Currently, Globe is offering the Nokia 3 Silver White for zero cash out on its 799 plan.
5. Regarding the exact type of the Gorilla Glass used in Nokia 3 and 5, please refer below (as well as our question if the Arte Black aka the Piano Black version of Nokia 6 as seen on it's official global TVC will be available in PH):
Nokia 3: 5.0” HD Gorilla Glass 2.5D Display
Nokia 5: 5.2” HD Gorilla Glass 2.5D Display
There are no announcements yet on the availability of the Arte Black limited edition of the Nokia 6 here in the Philippines.
Here we go, a sigh of relief to yours truly as well as some of the readers who asked about it.
