Before the Android smartphone age, Nokia's part of their success from the late 90s and 2000s was the camera and most of their high-end handsets has ZEISS optics in it. Now that HMD Global is now handling the brand, they made it possible to bring that partnership
As stated recently in their official, they announced that Nokia will have an exclusive partnership with ZEISS to set new imaging standards in their smartphones.
HMD Global CEO Artpo Nummela said " Collaborating with ZEISS is an important part of our commitment to always deliver the very best for our customers. Our fans want more than a great smartphone camera, they want a complete imaging experience that doesn't just set the standard but redefines it. Our fans expect it and together with ZEISS, we're delivering ity - co-devloped imaging excellence for all."
From their Twitter teaser, they said it will be coming this year. I wonder if this will happen soon on Nokia's first high-end smartphone.
