We waited for this chance for months and finally we can uncover if the hype is worth it from their introduction late last year. Here is our Cloudfone Next Review
I had a glimpse of it from their launch in a bar in Ortigas but after we got the review unit, it definitely reminds me of the MyUI launcher from another smartphone brand especially on the shape of app icons and there is no app drawer. Definitely, the response is fast with it's 4 GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor
On connectivity, I had no issues on calls, texts, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and mobile data especially that it has 4G only option. The speaker on calls was loud and clear for my taste
On battery, my video battery rundown test got the results at 15 hours and 15 minutes on battery saver mode out with it's 5.2 inch FHD display and 3,000 mAh battery. SD 430 processor was really battery efficient in the number of days that played with this. On heavy usage, I can manage this phone in 24 hours with 6 hours of screen on time. On light to average use, I can stretch it out on that same screen on time on 1 1/2 days.
One cause of delay for this review was mainly on the camera department. In fact, I requested the brand for a change of review unit as it was different compared to what I expected in the launch and there is very low light in the venue based on my first batch of camera samples. The selfie camera though was the saving grace of this phone.
Here are the camera samples:

The build quality, connectivity, quick charging and the overall usage was pretty solid for the Cloudfone Next for me but it really brought me down on it's main camera (despite that I used 2 review units of these). Camera was huge points for me so I will gonna give 3.5 out of 5 for the Cloudfone Next.
