I never thought that it was their 13th edition and they had an innovative idea to bring it in Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati. Here was my trip to Day 2 of November HiFi Show
I chose Day 2 (which was last November 13) as I had an event last November 12. Mezzanine and the rooms of 4th floor were the venues of this yearly event for HiFi afficionados and everything in between. In Mezzanine level, I saw the tables of Bang and Olufsen with their sophisticated line-up of earphones and headphones (unfortunately there is no demo unit of the earphone for the LG V20), Skyroam WiFi, FlipEars customized earphones, some big audio set-up with some turntables (the sound quality is superb especially that they played some classicial music) and lots of vinyls. I also saw the table of Ely Buendia's Offshore Music which they sell shirts and vinyl copies of Apartel's debut record (they played live at the Day 1 of this event)
The rooms of 4th Floor was perfect for more audio-related brands like Satchmi with their upcoming vinyl player which will come next month (in my separate blog post), some new stuff from JBL (I saw their new less than 1.5k and less than 1k earphones also in a separate post) via Beyond Innovations, latest wired and wireless headphones from Sony (finally as we were not invited at it's press launch but they made bawi on it with the best sounding wireless headphones that I heard so far and their 105k headphones), new stuff from A.Refinery, 4K projectors from Epson and more brands which you will see from the barrage of pics below.
If there is one sad thing about this year's event was they only brought in the live performances or going all out only on Day 1. I wish they mixed it up even on Day 2 so that people can still have something to watch out for. Still, a good job from the guys behind this event.
