This blog posted a leak of this particular Cherry Mobile device over a month ago and now, I had a chance to check out the actual unit - here is Cherry Mobile Flare Infinity
At the front, the real headliner of this device was the almost bezel-less profile with 5.5 inch IPS Full HD display with 5 MP front camera and home button/fingerprint reader. The back has 16 MP PDAF main camera with flash and Cherry Mobile logo. The built was expected for the price and that white lines were visible. Inside is 4 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM, Android 6.0 Marshmallow 3,000 mAh battery and 2.0 GHz variant of Mediatek Helio P10 octa-core processor
Power/unlock button and volume rocker at the right section.
They included a SIM ejector pin which is also works as a protector to the 3.5 mm. audio jack. As I tested, the left portion of the speaker is working plus the USB Type C at the bottom.
They had a stock pulldown menu which it's system UI tuner can be unlocked.
Like in rumors, it is true that the brand featured a quite old school Camera UI but good thing both cameras with the said resolution can max out even at 16:9 aspect ratio. Seven out of nine sensors are working including the gyro.
It scored a respectable 48,000+ on Antutu and has 10 point multi touch.
Because I was in a dark area of a moving vehicle, I can't provide camera sample for now but the physical looks was the one that made me smile on this device. One concern for me is the processor they chose which I already mentioned contraty that it is their flagship device for now. I hope that they brought either the Snapdragon 430 or 625 for this one which will be a bit better for it's official SRP.
