When I visited the Vivo branch and service center in Light Mall, Mandaluyong, it also gave me an idea to check out their currrent budget phone offering.
Here are the front and back views of Vivo Y51. I am impressed that even for the lowered price of Php 5,990, it really feels solid in the hand and might survive with almost no scratch if I gonna drop it sideways. The IPS qHD display does not look bad at all for me.
What this phone unique is that little space in the middle which is a part of the design language instead of a typical one solid color or texture. The volume rocker and power/unlock button are at the right section.
The 3.5 mm. audio jack can be found at the top while at the bottom, you can have thee pin hole microphone, OTG capable micro USB port and single speaker. Like in another competing smartphone brand, you also need to turn on the OTG function in order for you to check your files in your thumb drive.
That handy AIDA64 app told us more within the Vivo Y51. No surprise that it has the Cortex-A53 version of Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor. It has a good amount of sensors including the gyro and magnetic sensors.
I also brought in some snapshots too. The 8 MP rear camera has f/2.0 aperture while it's f/2.3 aperture on the front cam which has a pretty good job in output with that much lighting inside the store.

The Funtouch OS was a bit easy at first to learn as I had difficulty at first to find the Bluetooth toggle button which you have to swipe upwards in the home screen. Switching apps were not a problem in the number if minutes of playing this device. As it was slashed by 2 thousand pesos lower than the original SRP, this might be another good option to buy if the Vivo V3 is still not enough for your budget.
