Herbalife Philippines is aiming to help more on their corportate social responsibility programs. From one foundation in Alabang to another, this time in a nearby mall.
Herbalife Philippines gives back this time to Tuloy Sa Don Bosco Street Children Village in Alabang. The place aims to nurture poor, abandoned and homeless children and people from 9 to 18 years old. They even support them with their education even that they have various vocational courses including the timely call center training which those who were successful were already got my known BPO employers
We had a good conversation led by Herbalife Philippines General Manager Bong Valenzuela and Fr. Rocky Evangelista, the founder of Tuloy Foundation Inc.
When they built the place years ago, they literally started from scratch from it's 4.5 hectare property. The expenses is quite no joke according to Fr. Rocky at around 5M a month so the guys from Herbalife PH was really a big blessing for the institution.
One of the main projects of this collaboration is the major improvement of the main kitchen which serves meals to the children as well as the people who are working right there as well as additional fundings. I had been to Muntinlupa for a number of years but I am fulfilled when I saw the place and it was really heartwarming.
Both GM Bong and Fr. Rocky said that this collaboration was like a love at first sight that they met on each other's core values.
