Before it's official commercial release, I am happy that MyPhone gave trust to me on their one of their most anticipated smartphones under the MY series. Here's the MyPhone MY35.
Here's what the box of MyPhone MY35 looks like. Aside from the 8th Anniversary MyPhone Watch, the box has a sticker that has free 100 MB of mobile internet from Globe per month for 12 months. No SIM and watch in our review unit. That mobile internet freebie was started from MyPhone Uno.
Front: 5 inch IPS HD display, 5 MP front camera with Omnivision sensor and f/2.2 aperture, standard Android soft buttons but the home button has a circle mark
Back: 13 MP rear cam with flash, Samsung sensor and f/2.0 aperture, MyPhone and Philippine map markings, single speaker (removable back cover which is kinda glossy and prone to finger prints)
Underneath and internals: Dual micro SIM and micro SD slot (all hot swappable but have to confirm in my test), non-removable 3,140 mAh battery, 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT6753 octa-core processor, LTE capable, 3 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, WiFi, Bluetooth, A-GPS.
Top: OTG capable micro USB port and 3.5 mm. audio jack
Bottom: Pin hole microphone
Volume buttons at the left, power/unlock button at the right
The box also includes quick start guide, MyPhone sort-of bookmark, micro USB to USB cable, earphones, warranty certificate and 1 ampere USB charger. Based on the official specs sheet that MyPhone officials sent to us, it can support up to 2 ampere USB plug for faster charging.
According to my fellow tech blogger Peter of Gizguide, it will be available this last week of November for Php 6,888. but expect for my review of the MyPhone MY35 days or weeks before it's official release to stay tuned.
