LG V10 launched in PH, first impressions, camera samples

LG Philippines is definitely saving their best for last this year as a few months, the LG V10 is now in the Philippines.

According to LG Philippines VP Mr. Jay Won "The LG V10 is yet another feat for our growing smartphone line as it is designed primarily for heavy users of both multi-media features and of course, the ever growing social media universe - all packaged in a smartphone".

Good thing that the LG V10 is now on stores for Php 37,990.

Of course, I never missed the chance to do some hands-on of LG's newest flagship smartphone. True to what the international tech media said, the device looks a bit rugged yet classy that it can stand out  (in my own opinion) against others in the said category.

A glimpse of the V10's app drawer, dual window function and the storage area which it has around 49 GB of app storage out of 64 GB of ROM. Not bad.

The functions of first-of-its-kind second screen plus the call and SMS apps.

As anything "manual" for both video and photo was one of the strengths of the V10 compared to G4 so I focused on those things. In this pic, I did a set up to do a 2560 x 1080 video with 24 fps (which is film-like grade) which they had in it's global launch . The UI is easy to understand and very neat. I will upload the video very soon.

The power of 3 mics on this device is true on this device as I also tested it's functions there. Because you have 3 cameras on this device, you can shoot up to 4 frames by utilizing those shooters. For the set-up which you'll gonna see in my camera samples, I had 2 shots of rear cam and 1 each of the 2 front cameras of the V10.

And the camera samples shot at the event's venue at The Brewery:

LG V10 16 MP rear camera sample

LG V10 "1 out of 2" front camera sample

LG V10 dual front camera sample

LG V10 multi camera photo sample

Even with the limited time, I was impressed so far based on the appearance, UI and the manual video capabilities of the LG V10 so far. For this caliber of a smartphone, no doubt that I'll gonna give some time once I had a chance to do a review of this flagship device.
