The newest R7 smartphone series from Oppo were officially unveiled in the country, the Oppo R7 Lite and Oppo R7 Plus
They really had a huge number of invites from various media and dealers like in their first event last April 2014. Speaking of that timeline, they also put in a presentation which they shared their story and performance so far in the country in the past 18 months. Things are good from the international brand.
As confirmed, we got a different kind of Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 to the Oppo R7 Lite clocked at 1.3 GHz. You can check the rest of the specs here . Oppo R7 has a higher 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, Color OS 2.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, dual nano SIM (SIM 2 can be used as micro SD slot), 6 inch FHD display, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM, 13 MP rear camera, 8 MP front camera, LTE and 4,100 mAh non-removable battery.
On the sidenote as Oppo Philippines first local endorser Sarah Geronimo was also in the venue. As host Rico Robles asked her on her choice, the popstar chose the R7 Lite for it's compact size.
I got some talk with Oppo Global Community Marlon Barcza (the one in the pic) and clarified that the R7 Lite has the Quick Charge 2.0 by Qualcomm while the R7 Plus will have Oppo's own VOOC charging technology
Oppo R7 Lite and Oppo R7 Plus are now availale for Php 13,990 and Php 21,990 respectively.
