Good thing, Cherry Mobile and Android One is currently running their experience zone in SM Mall of Asia featuring their Android One devices. I took the opportunity (as there's no invite for us on it's media launch) to check out the Cherry Mobile Android One G1.
I knew that you already saw a number of reviews but some of the info that you'll gonna see are will be added once again on #RNTDFirst. Let's go on first on the physical attributes of the device.
The pulldown menu and the app drawer which are really gave me joy to navigate. Of course, stock Android experience on Android One devices like this device plus a reliable Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor.
Two of the discoveries which I'll gonna give on my "pros" list: unified storage based on it's 16 GB ROM and there's 4G/LTE only which I am really aiming in today's LTE-capable devices. This is just one of the reasons why I am still keeping my Cherry Mobile Ultra.
The Google camera app is the stock camera app for this device. Unfortunately for me, the 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera (actuallt it's 4.9 MP) can only shoot on 4:3 aspect ratio.
And the camera samples. Another discovery: the rear cam has f/2.6 aperture while it's f/2.65 on the front cam. Of course, it was based on one of the demo units. Like what I saw in some sites, the output of both shooters are good and shutter speed is thumbs up for me.

Based on my first hands-on on this device, the build quality is quite better than the brand's first Android One phone which is One. Display is pleasant and the weight is one of the lightest that I handled on the number of 5 inch phones that I had so far. Overall user experience was on high for me mainly coz it's stock Android.
Cherry Mobile Android One G1 is currently selling for Php 5,999
