After a sale of an entry-level Android handser that happened a long time ago from a local brand, no news yet so far that you can buy an Android phone for under a thousand pesos.
At the initial launch of Ding Ding Mobile Technology this August 30, 2015 at 1 pm at SM Dasmarinas Event Center, SKK Mobile A20 Android phone will be also one of the highlights as they will gonna sell that phone for only P999
The specs might be not so interested but to think of it, it is better than to buy a feature phone at the same price. It has Android 4.2.2 Jellybean, 3.5 WVGA display, dual SIM, Bluetooth, WiFi, 2 MP rear camera, VGA front camera, FM Radio and micro SD support. It is not clear though if it has a single core or a dual core processor.
Just a reminder, only the first 400 customers will be entertained on this upcoming SKK Mobile offer this weekend.
