There are some hints of Motorola (now a Lenovo company) will gonna return to the country as early as November 2014 during a Lenovo smartphone event. Fast forward to July 2015 and we can now officially say "Welcome back Motorola!"
They had a media gathering (I was not there but thanks to my fellow tech friends) yesterday in a resto in Pasig as they brought in 3 of their Android smartphone offerings.
First was the Moto E 2015 with Android Lollipop OS, 4.5 inch TFT qHD LCD display, 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor, 5 MP rear cam, VGA front cam, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB ROM, dual SIM, LTE capable, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, A-GPS, weights 145 grams and has 2,390 mAh battery. The price will be at Php 6,999
They will also have the Moto G 2nd Gen with 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 5 inch IPS HS display, Android Lollipop, 3G capable, dual SIM, 8 MP AF rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, 2 MP front camera, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB ROM, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, WiFi, 2 front facing speakers, FM Radio, A-GPS, and 2,070 mAh battery. This has an SRP of Php 8,499.
And their top of the line so far in their comeback here, the Moto X 2nd Gen with 5.2 inch Full HD AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 3, Android Lollipop, 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, 13 MP rear cam, 2 MP front camera, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, LTE capable, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi ac, NFC, A-GPS with GLONASS and 2,300 mAh batttery. The SRP will be at Php 16,999
