Sadly, I was not invited at it's launch together with 2 other smartphone models of this brand. Good thing, Peter of GeekyPinas gave me an opportunity to check out the Honor 6 Plus
The front has 5.5 inch Full HD display with 8 MP selfie camera. The back has dual 8 MP rear cameras (which has a special purpose) with flash, Honor branding and speakers. What powers this device is the Krin 925 octa-core processor with 3 GB RAM. The Philippine version has the one with 16 GB ROM. It also has EMUI 3.0 on top of Android 4.4 Kitkat.
The top has 3.5 mm. audio jack, IR blaster and noise-cancelling mic. The bottom has micro USB port and pin hole mic.
Nothing at the left side as you can check the volume rocker, power/unlock button and dual SIM slots. The 2nd SIM slot can be used as a micro SD slot (which I will label this device as with "optional dual SIM")
Before I gonna drop in my first impressions, I'll gonna share my camera samples taken in an unpredictable lighting at one of my new fave spots, Discovery Primea in Makati City during an event.

First impressions: This one can be classified as the flagship model so far from the brand despite that it is only less than Php 20,000. The looks and the feel of the device really looks premium and pristine. For my rugged hands, I will recommend to put a jelly case on this one. The dual 8 MP rear camera set-up gives some importance as you can adjust the aperture before taking a pic and even changing the focus spot even after you took a pic. I was just fresh at that time when I held the Huawei P8 and I also found the same smoothness and clean looks of the EMUI 3.0. I'm also impressed on the camera.
