Sony Bravia Full HD and 4K Android TVs now in the Philippines

Sony Philippines once again takes a big leap in sound and home entertainment technology as it debuts its latest line of smart and innovative televisions with the new 4K and Full HD TVs, designed to provide the most immersive and high-resolution cinematic experience for customers.

“We at Sony are very excited to launch this new and improved product line as we always strive to put innovation and style together. As a company, we are in the business of making products that truly matter and we understand how important connectivity is to our customers. With this latest 4K and Full HD lineup of TVs with the Android OS, we have created a platform that our customers will value. We are continuously aiming to become a lifestyle brand fit for every forward-looking customer,” said Nobuyoshi Otake, President and Managing Director, Sony Philippines.

Ranging from 43 to 75 inches, the new BRAVIA™ 4K models include four new series and eight new models that will be available in the Philippines in the coming months.

The new televisions (All 4K models: X9400C, X9000C, X8500C, X8300C and Full HD series: W800C) support Google’s latest Android TV operating system 5.0 or lollipop, allowing users to easily stream video, use it as a gaming device and present them with enhanced features for a full interactive Android experience.

Google Cast™ will provide users with greater connectivity by enabling users to transfer content from mobile devices, so that they can enjoy it with stunning clarity and vivid color. The Voice Search function, meanwhile, uses voice recognition technology allowing the consumers to “speak with” the TV and “ask” for help to find what they need. Google Play™, on the other hand, provides customers unlimited entertainment options straight from their television.

The latest Android TV operating system offers an intuitive user interface combined with numerous entertainment options for a more immersive viewing experience.

Sony, indeed, is now back with more dynamic and high-performing products that will take the cinematic experience to the next level. The new BRAVIA™ 4K TVs come with the new 4K Processor X1 that provides advanced clarity, color accuracy and contrast, all contributing to a better Sony 4K viewing experience.

The 4K Processor X1 was made to deliver breathtaking picture quality and phenomenal performance where colors burst into life, pictures are transformed with amazing clarity, and contrast is optimized at a whole new level. This is combined with the X-tended Dynamic Range PRO that utilizes a full array of local dimming that produces contrast beyond comparison and a widening dynamic change.

The X9000C is housed with an Ultra Slim Design that makes it Sony’s thinnest range of TVs with edge-to-edge viewing. Measuring just 4.9mm thin, the X9000C is slimmer than a regular smartphone, similar to a painting you can easily hang to the wall and allows users to mount the screen with minimal gap. Customers can enjoy its frameless design that blends into any space at home. The X9400C is also made compatible with High-Resolution Audio playback as a standalone TV where users can easily enjoy the best quality of music through their televisions.

Specifically designed to fit any lifestyle, the sensational Full HD picture quality and slim features make Sony BRAVIATM the home entertainment essential in any household.

“With the new Sony BRAVIA Full-HD lineup, we want to become the go-to home entertainment system that consumers choose. Our W and R series are equipped with the latest picture and sound technologies in the market designed to cater to a versatile home entertainment lifestyle,” shared CJ Deacosta, Marketing Executive – Home Entertainment, Sony Philippines.

The W800C and W700C series reduce unwanted picture noise with its X-Reality PRO technology, ensuring high quality graphics every time and produces high quality and clearer sound with the ClearAudio+ technology for better cinematic experience. Sony customers will be able to maximize their use of home space with the W’s super slim design ranging from 32 up to 65 inches.

Meanwhile, the R series has the same Sony super slim design, equipped with a built-in wireless LAN feature, reducing the messy cables while providing a hassle-free Wi-Fi connectivity. The R552C and R502C series pack easily accessible entertainment options. With full internet TV support, it allows you to easily access YouTube, including the latest movies, music videos and enjoy Opera applications. The R series is available in sizes ranging from 32 to 48 inches.

Take your viewing and cinematic experience to a whole new level and upgrade your BRAVIA now. The new BRAVIA 4K and Full HD TVs will be made available in Sony Centres and authorized dealers beginning this month.
