Many of us might have the attention right now on the G4 on the array of 2015 LG smartphones but I'm lucky that LG Mobile Philippines gave me a chance to check one of the 4 new midrange phones that first introduced in MWC 2015 which really inspired to the success of LG G3.
And I have the LG Magna. Please take note that the available version here in the country is the 3G-only version. You can see the front and back portions of the box.
The front has 5 inch IPS HD display with 5 MP front camera. On screen standard Android buttons are present here as it already has Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. The back has 8 MP AF rear camera with flash, the trademark power and volume rocker rear keys, LG logo and single 1 watt speaker. The back cover is removable.
The top has 3.5 mm. audio jack with noise cancelling mic while at the bottom, you can see the micro USB port and pin-hole mic.
When you gonna open the back cover, you can see 2 micro SIM slots and micro SD slot and the removable 2,540 mAh battery which is big for it's screen size. The package include the user manual, warranty card, list of LG service centers, USB plug and USB cord.
First impressions: From it's battery capacity for a quad-core device and screen size, I'm already impressed but I wanna it's performance soon on real life. I like that the LG Magna's SIM slots and micro SD slot are hot swappable. I can still feel the LG G3 in this device.
Watch out for my review soon. LG Magna is already available in LG Mobile stores and authorized resellers for Php 9,990
