Aside from the LG Magna, LG Mobile Philippines also included another budget smartphone with some inspiration from G3 which can be your alternative.
Here's the LG Leon. Witness the front and back portions of the box. Like in LG Magna here, the PH variant of Leon is 3G-only.
The front view has 4.5 inch IPS FWVGA In-cell display, VGA front camera and LG logo. The back view has 8 MP main camera with flash, power/unlock button, volume rocker rear key, LG logo and speaker.
The top part has noise-cancelling mic and CTIA-compliant 3.5 mm. audio jack while you can check the micro USB port and pin-hole mic at the bottom.
I'm not sure if these are the official contents once you'll gonna buy the Leon as there's no earphones included in the box which is a-ok if you already have your beloved and compatible earphones for this device. The package also included user manual, list of service centers, warranty card, USB cord and 0.7 ampere USB plug.
The other picure will tell the story when you will open the back cover. I noticed that it has a different kind of construction for the rear key compared to the LG Magna (which is excusable for me for it's price difference). You can check the 2 micro SIM slots and micro SD slot at the lower right corner. It has 1,900 mAh removable battery.
First impressions: I npticed that it is quite thicker than the LG Magna which can be at over 10 milimeters ar it's thickest part. Only the micro SD is the hot swappable here. The form factor and display is not bad at all.
Expect for the review of LG Leon on this blog soon. LG Leon is already available in LG Mobile stores and authorized retailers for Php 5,990
