I'm thankful that Acer Philippines gave me an opportunity to put their newest midrange Android phone on my review table. Here is the Acer Liquid Z520
This is what you'll gonna see when you purchase the Acer Liquid Z520. The box is quite normal for a smartphone with 5 inch display.
The front view has 2 MP fixed focus front camera with 5 inch FWVGA display. No surprise that the Android buttons are not on the screen as it has Android 4.4 Kitkat. The back has 8 MP AF rear camera with flash, Acer logo, DTS logo (as it has DTS sound support) and single speaker. The back cover is removable and it has 2,000 mAh removable Li-Po battery.
The volume rocker and power/unlock button are both located at the right side.
The box also includes 1 ampere USB plug, USB cord, earphones, user manual and warranty paper.
When you'll remove the back cover, you'll gonna see the 2,000 mAh removable battery, dual micro SIM and micro SD slot.
First impressions: I love the form factor of the device plus the textile-like texture of the back cover which adds more grip to my hand. The unique multi-tasking window that I saw from Liquid X1 is also present at this phone which is +1 for me. At least, micro SD is hot swappable.
