Nuvali Night Sky Cinema Labor Day 2015 with Cinema One highlights

I'm quite surprised that Cinema One had a nice collaboration this time with Nuvali for their Night Sky Cinema which happened last May 1 so here's my experience.

I'm attending Night Sky Cinema since 2013 and for me, that was the most jampacked edition of the event so far mainly to the number of performers like The Ransom Collective, Jason Dy and Kai Honasan from The Voice of the Philippines Season 2, Moonstar88 and Up Dharma Down. The event was hosted by John Lapus and Kitkat. There were also a number of sponsors who gave away some treats to lucky participants.

Based on my observation, that was also the most number of people that attended in the 5 or 6 Night Sky Cinemas that I attended so far to the point that a guy was only about centimeters away from me. Good thing, there were no smokers near my spot.

Aside from some the artists, another thing that I went there: to watch 2013 Cinema One Originals entry Shift (starring Yeng Constantino and Felix Roco) and That Thing Called Tadhana (maybe the reason that I didn't have a chance to watch it in a cinema) which are really very good local indie movies.

The first 3-4 hours of the event went to the sponsors segments and some of the performers. Moonstar88 was the last one to showcase before the first movie (Shift) was played at already 7pm (I had a guess that the event might end at around 1 am of May 2) then after that, it's Up Dharma Down's turn. Starting at around 9:45pm when the event played the 2 other movies back-to-back.

The event (as expected) ended at 1 am. Even that the announcer gave that reminder, it's quite sad that there were still a lot of people who left their food trash in the event grounds. One noticeable thing was the bottled water which is a house item from Puregold. I hope that the event organizer/s will have a more strict measure against this thing as I really love Nuvali as a very clean community.

Well, I really enjoyed the cold breeze and the event itself. I wonder when is the next Night Sky Cinema?
