Cloudfone has 2 "Android and Windows in one" tablets in their event yesterday. For those who want only to stick this OS from Microsoft, Cloudfone has their 8 inch offering with the Cloudpad Epic 8.0
The package already comes with a flip cover and bluetooth keyboard which adds more value for it's SRP. I noticed that on the flip cover that there's a little cradle. I suggest for you to put the tablet's position which the power button at the top view. The keyboard is quite comfortable to type when I had a little test on Internet Explorer. It has 8 inch IPS OGS WXGA display, WiFi, Windows 8.1, 2 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera, 1.8 GHz Intel Atom quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM
What's cool into the Epic 8.0 - you can choose from 5 different colors (based on their presentation but in the brochure that I got, it has 3). The yellow variant was the available test unit at that time. At portrait mode, you'll gonna see the 3.5 mm audio jack, micro HDMI and micro USB port. Expect nothing at the bottom.
I'm not that sure on that black spot on the right side of the device. On the left, you can check the power button and volume rocker.
Even at the little time that I got at this device, I had difficulty on using the touchscreen keyboard function and connecting to WiFi with my quite strong tethered smartphone. I hope that it is only thru the test unit that they offered.
Cloudpad Epic 8.0 is now available in Cloudfone stores and authorized retailers for Php 7,999
