Aside from the Rio 2, I did not miss the chance to go to the more affordable option of it. Here's what I got on the MyPhone Rio 2 Lite.
Nothing to expect on the left side while you can locate the power/unlock button and volume rocker at the opposite side.
Goodbye one Rio 1 issue as you can also install apps via micro SD and move apps to micro SD like in Rio 2. I got the Antutu as one example. As expected, the Lollipop's default battery saver is something that I am looking forward when I gonna have a chance to review on any of the two Rio 2. Additional, the device has 4.9 GB out of 8 GB ROM for app storage.

The front has a 4.7 inch IPS WVGA display with 2 MP FF front camera with f/2.4 aperture. Even that it is already in Android 5.0 Lollipop, the 3 standard Android buttons are there. Unlike in Rio 2, you can press the menu button to see your running apps for multi-tasking. At the back, there's the 8 MP AF rear camera with flash and f/2.8 aperture, MyPhone and Rio 2 Lite logos and one speaker. Same with Rio 2, the back cover has a matte finish which has a sandstone-like texture.
The top has the CTIA-compliant 3.5 mm. audio jack while at the bottom, you can find the USB OTG capable micro USB port and microphone. Talking about the headphone jack, I tried it with my Xiaomi Pistons earphones and the volume rocker also works like what I experienced yesterday with the Rio 2. Looks like this is one of the not-so-talked-about features of Android Lollipop but I would like to test it on other brands with Lollipop OS.

If you'll remove the back, you can have 1 regular SIM slot, 1 micro SIM slot and a micro SD slot. Good to know that it has 2,120 mAh Li-Po removable battery.
Let's go to some screenshots of the device. This is what to expect on your first boot of Rio 2 Lite. Unlike on Rio 2, it has an app drawer and there 2 camera apps and SMS messaging apps to use. What I don't like is the device's default brightness. My usual preference will be from 0% to 15% brightness and I'm ok. That thing might affect it's battery performance on day-to-day basis.

No surprise for me versus Rio 2 that Rio 2 Lite got a better Antutu score of 20657 due to a bit smaller display and lower screen resolution. The device has 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT6582 quad-core processor.
For a budget version of Rio 2, it has the 4 basic sensors like accelerometer, light, proximity and sound. The Nenamark2 is impressive at 64.2 fps.
And the 8 MP rear and 2 MP front camera samples. It's easy to tell that Rio 2 has better pair of cameras over the Rio 2 Lite. Camera shutter speed of 2 Rio 2 Lite cams are acceptable for me for a quad-core device (definitely a lot faster than in MyPhone Uno). By the way, I used the stock camera app instead of Google Camera app for these samples.
