It's nice to be back at the 5th or 6th edition of the Night Sky Cinema at Nuvali held just few days after Christmas 2014. A lot of reasons why I am there.
First, it was my comeback to the said event since my little disappointment to the NuCinema 2013. Of course, just after a lot of work in preparation for Christmas, this is also one good place to unwind plus I didn't have a chance to watch Rise of The Guardians and The Holiday.
This time, the actual grounds was moved a few meters from it's original grounds as there's an upcoming project at Nuvali. Good thing that Nuvali buses are available to bring in those who wanna watch but for me, walking is not sweat coz of the cold weather.
It was my earliest to arrive at all of the Night Sky Cinema events that I attended at around 5pm. I chose to bring my own food, drinks and matting so that no more hassle for me from start to finish. The first film was Rise of the Guardians then Home Alone 1 and The Holiday. The event was hosted by DJ Tom Alvarez of RX 93.1
One thing that I liked about this event compared to NuCinema 2013: No more promises that if you posted that particulat hashtag to your social media page that it will appear on the big screen. Another plus is the additional monobloc chairs and the elevated seats (which look like from a typical basketball gym) and the wide variety of food booths there. At least this time, more visibility from the security force as I didn't encounter a single trash of an alcoholic drink this time.
