A few weeks ago, Asus Philippines Facebook page posted a teaser to their upcoming FonePad 8 FE380CG. Now, they announced it in a nice way this payday weekend as they also announced another budget Android tablet
Let's go first with the FonePad 8 FE380CG Android tablet has an official SRP of Php 11,995 with 16 GB ROM. You can check out my related post of this device for the specs. They also revealed the Asus MemoPad 7 ME70CX available in 8 GB ROM (Php 3,995) and in 16 GB (Php 4,995)
As I checked the Asus website, the MemoPad 7 ME70CX 8 GB ROM has 7 inch WSVGA (1024 x 600) display, running on Android 4.3 Jellybean, powered by 1.2 GHz Intel Atom Z2520 dual-core processor (the same processor used at Asus Zenfone 5 Lite), 2 MP FF rear camera, VGA front camera, 1 GB RAM, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS with GLONASS and 3,220 mAh battery. I will confirm soon if the specs are the same for the 16 GB ROM variant.
They are now on showcase and on sale at the Cyberzone area of SM North EDSA right now until February 1, 2015.
