My Big Bossing blogcon, revealed more details on this much-awaited 3-in-1 MMFF movie

It’s my first time to be in a blogcon either for movies or television. As for my support to the upcoming Metro Manila Film 2014, me and some selected number of known bloggers attended the blogcon for My Big Bossing starring Vic Sotto and Ryzza Mae Dizon.
As to compare with Bossing’s previous number of movies in MMFF (e.g. the Enteng Kabisote series, etc.) , it’s quite a first time to that they bring in 3 stories in one movie. The titles are Sirena, Taktak and Prinsesa. The movie also co-stars Alonzo Muhlach, his father Nino Muhlach, Marian Rivera and Nikki Gil.

Bossing, director Marlon Rivera, Nino Muhlach, Alonzo Muhlach and Ryzza Mae were there to answer a good amount of questions. The most interesting thing on why they brought in a 3-in-1 movie. This was because of combined brainstorming and requests from fans that they bring in comedy, horror and fantasy in a film

According to Bossing, the film had about 30 to 35 shooting days and they also invested a good amount of budget. It will be more noticeable in the “Prinsesa” part which the team had to put in a big castle in a mountainous part in Tanay, Rizal including the costumes which I noticed in the trailer. I asked 2 questions on him on how Alonzo came in for the film and the possibility of selling his earlier films on iTunes for the benefit of his overseas fans (I asked it coz you can now rent or buy a movie from some of Star Cinema releases, even Pinoys here can also do it). He answered me that he will brought in the idea to his partners Tony Tuviera (of APT Entertainment) and Orly Ilacad (of OctoArts films) and he even thanked me for the suggestion. On Alonzo, he approached Nino if his son can play the role as a prince (the kid recently appeared on PBB before this project). Bossing got impressed to this cute boy from singing, dancing and acting so no surprise that he’s now on his 1st movie appearance.

On Ryzza, her most difficult part that she did for the movie was the swimming scenes (for Sirena) that she had to took some swimming lessons. There are a few questions related in comparison with her previous co-star Bimby to Alonzo as she answered with a smile quoted “ I wanna keep my private life private” which brought a lot of laughter to us.

On direk Marlon compared to his previous work at My Little Bossing, he’s now more comfortable in shooting MBB especially in terms of relationship with the key cast. There’s even one shooting day that Ryzza requested to re-shoot that one scene again (even though that it’s already a-ok for the director). Ryzza did that coz she wanted to input a particular scenario that she thought will bring in more laughs to the moviegoers this Christmas.

On Nino, he’s also happy that he and his son were included in the film. The fun was always there whether on and off-cam. He even revealed that in OctoArts studios that there were always a good amount of food especially Hersheys chocolates for the kids.

As I said that it is a 3-in-1 film, the 2 other directors that joined for  this project were Tony Y. Reyes and Bb. Joyce Bernal. My Big Bossing will be showing on Christmas Day in cinemas as part of the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival 2014. There will be a premiere night this December 22, 7:30 pm at SM Megamall Cinema 10. The cast will also be at the Parade of Stars on December 23.
