ZTE Blade Vec Pro specs, price, first impressions

From the Blade Vec 4G, my attention took this time to ZTE’s another nice octa-core offering, the ZTE Blade Vec Pro

Same with it’s LTE-capable brother, the Blade Vec Pro has the 5 inch IPS HD display with 1.4 Ghz Mediatek MT6592 octa-core chipset. The back has a textured design but due to time constraints, I was not able to check if it has glossy or matte finish.

The top and bottom parts of the device. You can see from my pics that it has rounded edges on both parts. The top has the 3.5 mm. CTIA complaiant audio jack, a pin-hole mic which might be for noise cancelling and the USB OTG capable micro USB port. The bottom has another pin-hole mic on it.

The left portion of the phablet is kinda interesting which it has 3 “slides” to open with the help of a sim tray pin. The top tray is for the 2G only sim slot, the middle is for the 3G/2G sim slot and the bottom is for the micro SD slot. The right side has the volume rocker and power/unlock button.

I got a glimpse of the RAM in action and the storage. The 3 Android buttons are also there on the screen. Thru a USB thumb drive with some 720p and 1080p videos and a stock video player, this is the only 2nd octa-core device after the MyPhone Infinity Lite which in my view can deliver great video display which as good as a typical Sony Bravia LED TV. I’m not still sure at this point if because of the Clear Motion that the Mediatek octa-core delivers. It is also a sexy phone for me

More of the phone storage and the app storage which is a bit of a downer for me coz the only 2 GB app storage.

And here are some of my benchmarks for the ZTE Blade Vec Pro

ZTE Blade Vec Pro is now available in Lazada Philippines, ZTE Mobile stores and authorized resellers for Php 8,990.
