While the Xiaomi MiPad is not yet clear if it will be available in the country soon, I had my time with while I’m on chillax mode at that time at their first exclusive service. Here are my first impressions.
Like it described in various international tech blogs, the size of the MiPad reminds me of the iPad Mini. Good thing with my James Yap-like hand, I can still grip it with one hand.
The IPS LCD display with 2048 x 1536 pixels is really an eye-candy for me plus based on my usual app transitions, it’s so smooth thanks 2.2 Ghz NVidia Tegra K1 quad-core chipset. The one on display at their service center is the 16 GB ROM model
As expected on an Android tablet, it is USB OTG capable and I got our usual benchmarks here. Woah at over 47,000 score at Antutu
My first impressions will not be complete with the photo samples. The camera shutter is as fast as the Redmi 1S and I also love the UI so feel free to download but not to own it and use and claim it in your social media account or your blog.

Once Xiaomi Philippines will have this on their official online store at Lazada, I’m more than happy to review this monster tablet soon.
