To cap off my trip at the Acer booth, my hands got some time on the country’s first Mediatek octa-core powered phone with LTE, the Acer Liquid X1
I appreciated Acer Philippines Product Specialist Mr. LA Rosero to let me test his own device. The device has 5.7 inch HD IPS LCD display with Gorilla Glass 3. Good thing that it only has 8.5 mm. thickness which is still easy to grip on one hand . The back cover has some dots which has a also acts as a purpose for handling the phoneGood thing that this phone is USB OTG but I don’t like the placing at the right side. Switching to apps is so snappy, given for its screen resolution and octa-core processor. Like the Liquid E700, it has the Google Play Music as it’s stock music player. Good thing it has a better default music volume at headset at 66%. There’s also Acer Rapid hard button which I already explained at the Liquid E700 blog post
Here are my benchmarks which has a respectable score on Antutu and woah! 60fps and 10-point multi touch.
And last, the camera samples.
