After the Mi 3, Xiaomi Philippines brought a nice storm to us by providing affordable yet quality powerbanks from it’s batteries made by either LG or Samsung. For this review, I got the 10,400 mah variant
This is the side by side appearance of the box. I can assure that this is a legit one as Lazada Philippines provided us a unit
Observations and Performance:
Using a 1A smartphone charger, the device got it’s battery at full at over 9 hours which is average. I noticed that even that the sides are matte finish, it can easily get some dust stains so better to get a covering to this one. It can charge at 2.1A max as I noticed off to my MyPhone Infinity Lite which only charged for less than 2 hours. In a typical 1A charger, it will go to battery full at less than 3 hours. As I already said the smartphone that I used for this review, I charged it when 5% battery is set. Out of 10,400 mah, it charged 4 times. On the 5th one, the device charged about 75% to the phone. In total, the powerbank has 89% capacity which is not bad compared to the 93% of 10,400 mah battery capacity that Mi promised as printed in the box.
Verdict:
For its price, performance, quality and battery capacity, I can that the 10,400 maH Xiaomi powerbank priced at P645 is a winner. That price can easily beat up to those generic powerbanks which are lower in quality. I hope that Lazada Philippines and Xiaomi Philippine will re-stock this and even the 5,200 mah powerbank soon. My grade is at 5 out of 5
