Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Philippines price, first impressions, camera samples, official release date

A goldmine for me yesterday as even it’s official unveiling this October 25, I managed to have my first impressions and camera sample of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 at Samsung SM Aura branch

Like on what the known international tech blogs had said, you can have the leather-like feel at the back of this flagship phablet but it is more sophisticated looking compare to the Note 3.The Quad HD Super AMOLED is really a treat for my eyes

The top has the 3.5 mm. audio jack, one of the many mics of this device and another medium hole that looks like for IR blaster purposes. The bottom has the micro USB port and 2 more mics. In the unveiling at London, Samsung said that they put up more mics which means that you can get more details for voice recording either for reports or maybe while in the office for a conference meeting.

The left portion has the volume rocker and the right portion has the power-unlock button

Here, you can see a lot of useful controls at the notification area and a sneak peek of the app drawer

Here, you can see the interface of the rear (left) and the front (right) cameras. Even when I set the front camera at 2 MP plus the selfie mode at 4 out of 8, you can really see the quality of the lens. Same goes with the 16 MP rear shooter which you can check our camera samples below. I also checked the OIS mode while I’m taking a picture (as I intentionally shook my hands to get results) and the camera still got the picture really good. I also love the shutter speed which I can believe that it can shoot as fast as 0.3 second.

Storage is one of the factors to check so the device has the 32 GB in device memory. Lucky that the device that I played is at 100% battery so I checked the ultra power saving mode and simply great that it can last up to 15.6 days.

Next is the RAM which out of the 3 GB RAM, in actual based on the device that it has 2.7 GB RAM. In app storage, the flagship phablet can add up to 13.8 GB of apps out of 17 GB.

And here are my camera samples of the 16 MP rear camera without flash and 3.7 MP front camera

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 official SRP for the Philippine market (based on the sign at the said Samsung branch) is at P37,990

You can also experience the Galaxy Note 4 even before it’s official unveiling until October 24 at other Samsung branches in SM Malls like in Megamall, Mall of Asia, North EDSA, Lanang, Davao, Pampanga and Iloilo as well at Ayala Center Cebu

One thing that is for sure, the Galaxy Note 4 will be it’s public launch this October 25 but 2 clashing infos confused me so far. The male salesman that I talked to said that that there’s a launch in SM Megamall while in Samsung’s Mobile Philippines Facebook, there will be selling of this device at the Samsung Galaxy studio at SM Mall of Asia (until October 26 with discounts and promos) . I guess we will have to wait for the official announcement at the said Facebook page
